Re:SOLUTIONS & Collaborations

I had a lot of fun working on my latest video project, a ninety second spot produced for a leadership development group I’m working with. It was a truly collaborative effort, with Kristin Hess coming up with the idea and guiding the art direction, and the entire group working together on the script and Molly Trueblood helping with the voiceover.

It’s the most ambitious I’ve ever been with animated type. I actually wanted to jump into After Effects for the projects and play with more animated sequences but a tight deadline didn’t allow me. Other than the somewhat disastrous postcard flip, I’m pretty happy with how things worked out.

A few months ago, I wrote a blog about how much I wanted to collaborate on a project with some of my favorite people in Indianapolis. It’s funny how things work out. While, I didn’t get to work with those kids, I found a new group of favorite people to collaborate with.

Sometimes it isn’t just about having the right people to collaborate with, it’s also about having a common goal towards which everyone is motivated and I found it in 1828.

Bonus props to Tyler Hromadka, my friends in Crafted Spoon and Drew Avery for letting me use their footage.

What do you think of the Re:SOLUTIONS brand and video?
